Scholarships

The American Brewers Guild has partnered with some fantastic organizations honoring legendary brewers to offer scholarship programs.  These programs provide full or partial tuition and/or travel expenses to brewers who qualify and are selected to receive the scholarship. 

The following are the current scholarship opportunities.  Please review them and take careful note of the eligibility requirements and application processes.  If you meet the criteria, we encourage you to apply! 

Greg Noonan New England Brewer’s Scholarship

The American Brewers Guild offers the full-tuition Greg Noonan New England Brewer’s Scholarship which will be awarded for the Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering class beginning June 2017. The scholarship is open to residents of New England, which includes the States of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Applicants must meet our prerequisites for admission into the program.

The Glen Hay Falconer Foundation Brewing Scholarship

The Glen Hay Falconer Foundation is offering a full-tuition scholarship to the Intensive Brewing Science & Engineering course beginning in January 2018. The scholarship is open to professional brewers and homebrewers from the states of Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, and California’s northern geographic region (San Francisco Bay/Monterey Bay areas and north). The scholarship includes a $1,000 stipend to help offset travel and lodging expenses for the final onsite week in Middlebury, Vermont.
